Two Hearts Become One
Patrick is a man whose life beautifully blends passion and purpose. A musician at heart and a doctor by calling, he has a quiet way of serving others both through healing and through music. Gifted in playing several instruments, he is most known for faithfully volunteering as a pianist at Christ's Commission Fellowship and serving the youth through Jzone or Elevate. Gentle, kind-hearted, and steady, Patrick lives with a deep commitment to love God wholeheartedly and to love his fiancée, Riana unconditionally and with the same faithfulness — a reflection of the life he continues to build with grace and devotion.
To the world, Riana is a vision of grace—a beauty queen whose regal presence and tireless advocacy for the youth have inspired many. She carries herself with a poise that is as natural as it is commanding, fueled by a passion to leave the world better than she found it. Yet, beyond the titles and the public eye, there is a tender soul that only those closest to her truly know. She is a woman of profound sweetness, possessing a heart that is as compassionate as it is brave. It is this rare combination of a queen’s strength and a gentle spirit that makes her the heart of our story.
From First Glance To Forever
A Quiet Beginning
In 2011, their story began softly — almost like a whisper carried by the cool winds of Tagaytay during youth retreats with Christ's Commission Fellowship’s Jzone. Patrick first caught sight of Riana during a leadership retreat in June, a fleeting moment that felt ordinary at the time. Months later, in October, Riana first noticed Patrick while they were quietly serving side by side, preparing participant IDs. During that same retreat, Patrick was formally introduced to Riana through his sister, and what began as a simple meeting carried a quiet sense of significance. Soon, gentle teasing followed, sparked by soft rumours that Patrick admired Riana — long before they understood how deeply God was already weaving their lives together.
The Beauty of Waiting
Through high school and into college, from 2011 to 2018, their connection lived in online chats, late-night conversations, and seasons of becoming. Life carried them in different directions, yet Patrick’s presence remained steady. From 2018 to 2021, Patrick would check in with Riana every so often — never rushing, never demanding — simply being there. It was a love shaped by patience, learning to trust God’s timing, allowing friendship and faith to mature into something steadfast and true.
A Promise Fulfilled
On November 20, 2021, Patrick invited Riana for coffee and dinner, not simply to speak of feelings held quietly for ten years, but to lay down his heart with clear and earnest intention: to one day make her his wife. After three years of courtship and learning to choose each other daily — through trials, victories, and quiet moments in between — Patrick asked Riana to marry him on March 23, 2025. Surrounded by their immediate families in a warm, homey restaurant in Quezon City, their “yes” became a promise rooted in faith, carried by love, and held by the grace of a God who writes stories far more beautiful than they could ever imagine.
